After 12 years the Daddies return to Grimsel Pass Switzerland
After many years a select few of the Daddies return to Uncle Simon’s crash site on a Bike Normandy Italian Lakes and Swiss Alps tour.

In 2003 the Daddies set off for a week touring in Switzerland only to find Uncle Simon T-boned into the side of a pissed up car driver who pulled out on him up the Grimsel Pass, (cheeky)!!!
The party included myself (Mr.T), Dave Nic, Uncle Simon, Mr. Bish, Moses and Fingers.
This was a Friday and we were returning home the next day.
While we were waiting for the air ambulance to arrive and toasting marsh mellows on Simons roaring bike fire, we realised that all of his documents, passport, license, insurance, mobile, condoms, Viagra…the lot were in his tank bag!!!
Although Simon didn’t break any bones he could just about walk, so being good mates we left him in Switzerland and cleared off home on the Saturday!!!
Simon stayed in Interlaken all weekend then managed to hobble onto a train on Monday to get to the British embassy for a temporary passport etc.

Well, 2004 we decided to revisit Switzerland and properly cross the Swiss Alps into Italy via the Grimsel Pass.
We did visit Switzerland, as well as the Grimsel and into Italy for a spot of lunch; however on our return journey, not via the Grimsel pass but through one of the mountain tunnels we all got caught by the Fuzz (nasty)!!!
Apparently overtaking in the tunnels 13 times constituted to a £1,300.00 fine each!!!!
We were proper nicked!!!!
